This game was a statement for the Senators after being rag dolled in the playoffs year after year.

Have to give Domi credit because McGrattan is massive. It also allowed Neil to fight a little less and he started improving the rest of his game as a result.

It seemed as if every Battle of Ontario game throughout the mid to late 00's were a blowout of the Leafs. Spezza, Alfredsson, and Heatley were lethal - always dominant.

Domi had a really good career as a fighter going up against bigger guys. Sometimes he was a bit too dramatic for me but I always admired his heart and willingness.

Obviously a changing of the guard moment.
