Brett Brochu Shines For Oilers AHL Team

How did he play an AHL game for Wilkes Barres when he was like 19? He played another game for the Manitoba Moose a year ago. Guy has a sorta weird trajectory. Had really good numbers and lots of GP his first year for London Knights but never got drafted?

Guy is only 6' so maybe scouts think he's undersized compared to goalies this era?
That said, more goalie prospects, the better...since we dont really have any one player we can count on between the pipes

Wolf has been hyped up and projected to be a NHL starter for good 4 yrs. He didnt just come out of nowhere.
Oilers should sign this kid despite the size disadvantage.
Sorry I mean he could be Oilers Wolf in they're the same size and style. His Instagram shows a pic of him in an Oilers uniform so I have some optimism he gets signed

I was high on Ungar joining the organization. I'm surprised that Brochu has been out playing him in ECHL.

Who knew that two of our goalie prospects would have undefeated streaks?

He probably doesn't fit Schwartz's vision of what a goaltender should be. Which is... flop on the ice, take your sweet f***ing time moving from side to side, and don't start trying until you've already let in two or three goals in on the first eight shots. Oh, and whatever you do, never, ever stop a breakaway or two on one. It's not your responsibility to save it and it will never, ever be your fault if it goes in.

He played pretty well in preseason when everyone else didn't give a damn. Had a solid season, #2 goalie in the coast with 30+ games played. AHL next season won't hurt.
