Nice, give him a couple games so the coaching staff, and himself, see what he needs to work on and send him back down. Then maybe we see him again towards the end of the season.

No brainer. Plenty of room for him with the several scrubs we have in the lineup. Def expect him to initiate some energy from the boys. Competition is a good thing.

Idk how I feel about this, I just don’t want to see him on the 4th line. I don’t want us to make the same mistakes as the past.

I would have rather get edstrom unless they’re putting him on third line and moving someone else back down on 4 which is probably what’s going to happen

5-on-5 scoring has been lame most of the season,
peaked for a while , but last ~10 games, invisible again
Wheeler, Brodz or Pitlick likely sit (maybe rotate in/out while Othmann up)

I agree 100%. I think he should have been left in Hartford for a full year of seasoning uninterrupted.

Yes, let's go. Rangers seeing and realizing what we see and realize about the 3rd line and needing scoring depth and upside. If he's not ready then he simply goes back down and continues to work and develop. If he's ready it's a big boost for us.

I thought he was called up for the game against Bolts and sent down day of or before game with Canes.
