Honestly, I wouldn't mind having Staal as a veteran presence for the young guys like Hronek, Seider and Cholowski. He's always been a steady stay at home guy. What's been his issue this season? Have the wheels just fallen off?

The guy is a student of the game. He may not be able to do the things he used to (or never could), but he's knows the sport, players, intricacies. Will be a very good coach one day. On top of being a loyal teammate
