Brendan Perlini vs Dylan Sikura

Brendan Perlini NHL career so far

16-17: went 45 games without a goal, scored his 14 goals is 12 games.
17-18: went 60 games without a goal, scored his 17 goals in 14 games.
18-19: went 57 games without a goal, scored his 14 goals in 11 games.

(obviously those games are not in a row)

Sikura

17-19 went 38 games without a goal, scored 0
(yes, those games are all in a row)

I’ll be honest here...I couldn’t care less about either of them. There’s so many more intriguing forwards in the system that I wouldn’t mind if either of them weren’t on the squad this season.

It may never materialize but I think Perlini could surprise if Hawks management remains patient with him. If he can extend those streaks to more than a handful of games I can see a 20 goal scorer one day, without the PP time.

And?

All that says is he had 2, 3 and 3 2-goal games respectively. I’m not sure what your point is honestly...

Sorta like the Cubs offense...
