New York's foredasted weather for Saturday is more suitable than that of San Diego for an event of this magnitude. That will work in NYRA's favor as a potential host city. We remember the abysmal conditions of Monmouth and Belmont all too well in the distant past. But though off-track racing is part of the analysis of the sport, it is better production under nicer weather. Maybe the showers forecasted will be minimal on Saturday. Friday looks splendid in San Diego.
