Very close but Point gets it due to being a tad more consistent with a few more elite regular seasons, being an elite playoff performer and being a center.

Forsberg doesn’t have the luxury of playing with a kucherov, but even still point has been super solid

Points ppg have been below 1.00 whenever he hasn’t had a hart level contender in kucherov beside him.

19-20: 66 in 68 —> kucherov down year
20-21: 48 in 56 —> kucherov didn’t play
21-22: 58 in 66 —> kucherov played half a season

Even with that said, those finals runs can’t just be forgotten about, he was insane.

If forsberg was consistently a 95 point player I’d say him, but he’s not that. He can be a 90 point player one year and a 70 point player the next. So at the end of the day he sometimes gets outproduced by point, even in the kucherov-less years so looking back now that argument doesn’t matter in this context.
