I can't think of another goal-scorer with his skillset. He depends so little on the strength of his shot.

Paces during a hot streak typically aren't a reliable basis. Would love to be wrong but he isn't going to hold these numbers.

He and Kuch don’t even (hardly) smile when they score. That's the mark of a large, swinging member, that knows there is only ONE goal they are trying to achieve.

His puck handling in tight space and with limited time is just amazing lately. He makes it look so easy and there’s probably just a handful of players on this planet able to pull this off and so consistently.
It's his ability to know exactly how much time and space he has, I think. If he has time to make a move, he makes it. If he doesn't, he shoots. He just always seems to know if the split second he has is long enough.
I was really shocked to see that he's tied for 1st in goals over the past 3 years. I mean, ample credit to Kuch, but still. It's amazing.

I’d still like to see him shoot more, particularly if he’s between the circles. Forces G to make a stop and possibly generate a rebound.
The reason I'm enjoying him being in the running for most goals is he'd finally get official recognition for how good he's been for this team.
