Point slightly better this year but Pettersson was playing injured for the first 15 games and Point has been shooting at 37% this season while Pettersson is shooting at 15.1%, the lowest of his career.

Pettersson I think has the higher ceiling, but even injury related some of his slumps are concerning

I think just the consistency with Point gives him the edge here. Pettersson at his absolute best is a little bit better than Point...but the problem is, he's often not at his best, and he can be pretty bad when he's not "on". Point is rarely "off". That's a pretty big deal when weighing these two players.
