Brayden McNabb

Slow in his own end defending. Needs to improve! Good handling the puck though once he gets it. Good on offensive blue line. Can play PP minutes. Overall, had a good season. It was his third season in playing games in the NHL. Could have played more but couldn't crack Buffalo's young lineup when his was young himself. I know, everyone wants to call him a rookie last year, but the truth is, he had already played quite a bit to get the jitters out prior to playing last season. Fourth season slump is possible, but I doubt it. And, he already had a sophomore slump with Buffalo. Maybe we'll sign Sekera, but you never know, he might have a sophomore slump? I know I'm getting a little qwertyjhgfds!!!! But.....!

You mean when Buffalo made the decision to tank and demoted ALL of their young players to help the tank?

Well, I think that was moreso this year actually. Either way, not sure what McNabb's time in Buffalo has to do with him as a King going forward. I'm pretty sure Buffalo could have used him this year.

I know he was young and has improved tremendously since then, but I'm alluding to this being a part of his sophomore slump he already had. You're right about Buffalo changing course and stopped playing the young guys, but they stopped playing him prior to any of this. It was probably a good thing that happened to him because he was able to go down, play in the AHL, build more confidence, etc. Although at the time that happened to him, that's not what Buffalo was thinking. They were Edmonton 2.0. Let's play all the young guys and see if they can all sink or swim, and in a few years, we'll be great!!! yeah right!!!

The Kings need him to be a solid #4 next season. That's what I expect.
