Brantford Bulldogs 2024 25 Season Thread Part I

for those looking to go to the game tonight, about 30 tickets were released last evening on TM.

might be worth checking the box office.

Go Dogs Go
The resale pairs that I just quickly looked at range from $68 (standing) to $238 (lol). Face value for my seats at the blueline are $64 for the pair.

Unfortunate that there will still be empty seats because business don't make sure their tickets get used.

yesterday TM released, at face value of course, the three prices. Some at $30, some at $34, and some of $40.

they would have been the tickets held for friends/family, etc.

They'll do it again for Sunday's game, likely mid Saturday.

I still in my heart think that Oshawa wins this series, but what a resilient win.

Imo, they caught a break on the winning goal. It was close, but it was offside imo.

Thankfully, Egorov is competent, because Im not sure we see Leenders for awhile. Looked like a groin maybe?

The one thing the Dogs have going for them is Oshawa is a bit chaotic. Even their own board talks about it. Stray from their system, but their skill covers a lot of the holes. Of course, its a LOT of skill.

I think the every game and the series as a whole is toss up.

An absolute toss up.
Hopefully some extra confidence for the dogs knowing they won 6 of 8 in the season series of which Egorov was 4 for 4 in the games he played ( including a SO win). He has started 1 game since January 31 - the last game of the season against Ottawa - but I think he comes into games against Oshawa with a lot of confidence so we’ll be fine if Leenders is unable to return. Hopefully the comeback lit a fire under the guys and they can ride with some momentum.

Any reports at all on timeline? Always want both teams to be at their best for a great series.

Bulldogs are being super quiet on Leenders.
He was visibly fine walking on the ice after game 6 against Brampton. Likely waiting for approval for Anaheim that all tests are negative and they are satisfied at this point. Just speculation though.

No Leenders. Egorov and Snyder.

Egorov fully capable of getting the job done, but it will be tough.

Good first period somewhat ruined by the softest of soft calls.

Egorov has looked solid.

Bulldogs are playing around in their own end too much. Too much talent on Oshawa. It will bite them at some point if they aren't careful.

And it did bite them on the 4th goal. Jiricek screwed around with the puck and turned it over. You have a 3 goal lead, just dump it out.

Gibson steamrolled Thomas in the slot on the goal too.

And screwing around with it again on the 5th goal.

Watching the game I thought to my self we could actually have a chance going all the way with Lardis. He is that good! It sure did not look good. If Lardis is out, this is a great opportunity for O’brien to further his already high draft position

In the Kingston thread ScoutLife4 has said that Malhotra had verbally committed to Brantford for next year.

It'll be interesting to see. Hope it works out.
I completely missed that but then saw it on here lol. Fine with this absolutely we get our picks and extra first and you guys get malholtra.
