Rinzel + would be a nice offer, IMO, even though it wouldn't help LA this year, or maybe even the next. Rinzel can use some filling out, but he looks damn good at times, and, IMO, has a high ceiling. Skating like that on a 6'5" guy doesn't come along every day, and he's got puck skills.

He's been good despite getting jerked around a lot by the Kings.

Doughty is back in the lineup, and Gavrikov is playing on the right side. I won't be surprised at all if one of Spence/Clarke is traded.

I have not seen any LA defenseman since Vishnovsky have the offensive instincts that Clarke does

Play on a team that is starved for offense, you think you would celebrate at the chance of having an impact defenseman. I feel sad for my forwards per year after year sacrifice points because our system.

I would be more open to trading Spence if it is a true hockey trade that brings us a right shot scorer. Unfortunately, I don’t think he has much value around the league.

Plus, I’m probably in the minority, but I’d let Gavrikov walk and go after Rantanen in the off-season.

Rantanen is a true first line star in this league and would elevate Byfield’s game

But in order to do this, we need to keep both our young right shot defenseman
