Value of: Brandon Hagel

I know Tampa Bay fans aren't handling the loss well but the 26 year old 90 point 2 way winger on a $6.5m deal for the next 7 years is as off limits as it gets.
So you don’t want a mediocre prospect, cap dump and a 1st for him?

I wonder how much of this is driven by fact that his and Cirelli's contracts had a couple of years at the start where there were no trade restrictions. Regardless, given the age of the other core pieces, these would be guys to keep imo.

There would be a fairly lengthy line of teams with interest in him and/or Cirelli.

Yeah, both are the only players you could actually move and moving either would make our team much worse. Cirelli I could see a package making sense if it's like an actually good young RHD prospect + middle six winger, assuming that JBB is 100% confident that he can sign either Bennett or Nelson. Moving Hagel for anything shy of like Quinn Hughes would be insane.

No idea what his value after the concussion
It's a concussion he didn't break both of his legs

Honestly - not a Tampa fan - but given contracts and age, I think he’s more valuable than Point, even if Point is a center.

Certainly very few wingers in the league that can match his offensive production, elite two-way play and priceless contract. He’s a golden goose asset.

His contract makes him one of most valuable assets in the league not on an ELC. Would take a ton of blue chip assets to even think about trading him
