What are the other lines hes played with? How would I find that on moneypuck?

Hagel is having a great year but its a career year at 62 pts in 55 games. He needs to show he can be a ppg player longer before he passes nylander as a player whose been top 10 in winger scoring for 3-4 seasons now.

As a value asset hagel is worth a fair bit more than Nypander due to contracts

I'm not sure how moneypuck works, so can't help you there. Hagel has played the year mostly with Cirelli, the third player on that line has been on a carousel, a lot of Nick Paul, but basically everyone.

You're comparing apples to oranges. Hagel is probably the best defensive winger in the game, while Nylander doesn't touch the ice on the PK. Their opportunities, linemates, and deployment is very different. The fact is, Hagel is a ppg player even if he doesn't see the PP at all, and there are very few forwards in the game who can say that.

Better question is why didn’t Chicago keep him? He’d be perfect on Bedard’s wing. I think the Hawks burned things down a tad too much and put Bedard in a position where he’s relied upon too heavily for a first/second year undersized player.

The Hawks tossed Hagel, Dach and Debrincat, plus Kane at the deadline, and STILL did not even achieve their goal of finishing last.

Now, the hockey gods blessed them with a lottery win from 3rd last in the standings, but they were only one point worse than San Jose.

If Hagel is still on that team, there’s a pretty good chance they push at least one close regulation loss to OT, and then they miss out on Bedard.

Blackhawks fans loved Hagel. But like the others, he didn't fit the Blackhawks new timeline once they started a rebuild. We’re all happy he’s doing well with a great organization with Tampa.

Hes a bit worse than nylander but better contract. He plays with Kucherov the 2nd-4th best player in the league.

Hes a complimentary offensive player on his line vs nylander having to be main driver of offense for his line.

Leafs should have done the knies + 1st deal back in 2022 for Hagel + MAF

Nylander spent as much time with either of Matthews or Marner (~130 minutes) as he has with Kampf and Holmberg, those two have a combined 5G 10A 15P. He’s mostly played with JT and either McMann or Patches.

I definitely wouldn't have thought he spent that much time with Kucherov, and especially more than Paul. Still only 230 of 828 minutes, that's around ~25%.
