I'm gonna be so stoked when we get Robertson and Marchment out of this
Those odds are nonsense, especially before the summer moves.I think the reality comes somewhere in the middle, there is a reason Vegas odds had us as high as the did, what was it, 8th before this trade?
Am I in the minority here hoping they flip the picks for an impactful roster player?
I think it depends on the pick. 9th overall (or the 2029/2030 pick perhaps depending on how that turns out) might be different than the other ones. Unfortunately, the best tool for the Senators to acquire a difference maker for a long term is through the draft. We all want this. Most are concerned what the “impactful” roster player may be.
Who's the second? Only Stutzle is elite. His point could still potentially be correct tho especially if the target is McTavish like many think
We’d still only have 2 elite players despite the draft capital and 25M.
I think there is a small number (myself included) that are Canadians that have moved to the U.S. I’d share some insight that reflects on a future stage of life. But, it would be in a more private setting versus on the board. There are some really really good aspects and some really really bad aspects.
Never imagined I'd live here in a million years but I've built a nice life with my wife. There are worse places.
Sanderson.Who's the second? Only Stutzle is elite.
Ya my mistake. I jumbled up the messages as I read yours and another poster that responded to you, but he was talking about forwards only, so I thought it was referring to two elite forwards not players.Sanderson.
NTCOtt: Robert Thomas, Dylan Halloway
Stl: Dylan Cozens, 9th Overall
Ott: Robert Thomas, Dylan Halloway

Doug Armstrong did media today and said their plan has accelerated because of Holloway, and they're looking for guys between 22-25 to complement him, Thomas, Broberg, etc.
Those guys won't be available.
He also said they called Ottawa on Tkachuk but Brady wouldn't go there, so that was interesting. Guy doesn't want to lead his hometown team.
Central Division is probably the toughest division to come out of with Col, Dal and Min, and Dal could be losing Robertson. Atlantic has a bunch of pretenders and teams aging out. Buf is losing Tuch and got goaltending that's unlikely to repeat, TbL lost Raddysh and keeps getting older, MTL was an OT merchant, East in general is just more wide open, Car and probably Fla will be tough (they still need a goalie) but after that it's pretty wide open imo. Vegas odds aren't a team rank, they consider the path to the cup. Those odds are nonsense, especially before the summer moves.
Dallas behind us was stupid. There were other weird rankings that didn't seem to make sense too.
Staios basically said straight up that Brady only wanted to play in Fla with his brother, something to the effect of they talked to a few teams but it became clear Brady wanted to play with his broth, repeated it several times on the radio interview with team1200Doug Armstrong did media today and said their plan has accelerated because of Holloway, and they're looking for guys between 22-25 to complement him, Thomas, Broberg, etc.

It was noticeable any time we played Florida, the guy exists solely to huff his big brothers fartsI Didn’t realize Brady was such a little brother
It's a parking lot. Who paves a whole state?
Did Frank always have that weird mark on his forehead?
Doesn't he have only one RFA year left, then UFA? Would be shocked if he extended with the Sens and his price tag is prohibitive. If looking at the trade market, I'd rather they pursue MacTavish, Peterka, Lafreniere, even Debrusk. A lot cheaper and more term.I hope we aggressively pursue him

I think you are underestimating the Atlantic and the internal growth Mont and Buffalo will experience. They have a bunch of young, real impact players that are still on their parabolic growth curve, they will improve rapidly yoy and that will have a meaningful impact. We're past that phase, won't be improving that much internally, and they were already at our level last year. They are going to be better next year regardless even with Brady here.Central Division is probably the toughest division to come out of with Col, Dal and Min, and Dal could be losing Robertson.
