I just don't see how Fox is considered to be as elite as made out to be.As currently constructed with Hamilton and/or L. Hughes on the powerplay, with another top-2 selected defenseman and Casey (who I know has some polarizing takes regarding his future potential), along with a relatively small top-6 forward group that includes J. Hughes and Bratt and Meier is the only one with any real “size” (and still significantly smaller than Tkachuk), I could see the case being made for the Devils. I’d still disagree and say I’d rather have the top player at their position, regardless of team need, and that’s Fox way more than Brady, but I could at least see a case for it on the current Devils roster. But the Devils aren’t the ones trading for or away Brady or Fox in this scenario.
Probably the worst skater in the league, he's smaller than Jack, he's got no jam to his game. No forward is afraid to go down his side etc. I'm quite happy he plays for the hated rival tbh.
The trade was between OTT and NY I get it.
