Yeah I'm not taking the bait. You guys feel free to bring up Dorion endlessly, you seem to be obsessed with the guy or something.
Hey, you want to bring up the last four years, Dorion was a big part of that. We don't have assets to make the right deals to add depth because of that baffoon, of course his name is going to come up. You're of the opinion that changing the C will clean it all up because that's all that's left at this point.

Bizarre convo so imma walk right by that and say nice for Brady to score and hopefully the other players will stop gagging and just shhot the puck. These guys are too picky and trying to be too precise. We need them all to just shoot the damn puck

BSP comes out with these shit takes and then argues with anyone that's willing defending them. Almost like trolling but then its BSP so ... lol

The booing is bigger than his feelings. He isn't dumb and knows it is not about him or the players.

Things will only get worse with Tariff Day

Another great game by Brady scoring the tying goal & even more importantly coming to Giroux's defence when Wilson wanted a piece of him & held his own against one of the toughest guys in the NHL. Brady has become a legitimate heavyweight NHL power forward we thought he could when they drafted him & he continues to improve his game & stand up for his teammates..

Since it’s a hot topic… Brady got asked about the anthem booing on a podcast

I was only half listening while working and I don’t remember exactly what he said but it was diplomatic. Something along the lines of trying not to focus on it, focus on representing the community, representing where he comes from and being the best version of himself.

One of the hosts learned in the interview that Ottawa is in Canada too, so Brady is educating Americans one day at a time I guess.

Starts around 34 min

More Americans talking about how much that 4 nations tourney increased interest in hockey. It is kind of impressive. Olympics dont seem to have ever had that effect in the USA but this one apparently did. If a marketing guy didnt tell the Tkachuks to start the game with fights, they missed a great item for their resume.

If he can’t understand the real reason people are booing and requests a trade, then good riddance.

Some things are bigger than a sport played by a bunch of dumb rich millionaires.

Wow so Brady being a patriot and a dumb rich millionaire, good riddance to him. I feel Brady has left some to be desired for stretches this season but also acknowledge his accomplishments.

Hockey is the last place politics should take effect. It’s just a bunch of nobody’s virtue signaling by booing to feel important, which has no impact on the problems at hand.

I wouldn’t appreciate other countries booing us because of our PMs failures. One person doesn’t represent a country and both of us have had a lot of terrible leaders, voted in by the people.

Let’s stop booing American anthem like it’s some solution. Better to let hockey be hockey and come together, the opposite of politicians.

Not good, i dont blame him but just not good for the team

This isn't like the Senators are this perfect situation, and we've built up a Tampa Bay like team and won multiple cups, and Brady is so Patriotic that he has the conviction to ask out because he doesn't like the conduct of the fans. This is Brady already having 1.5 feet out the door and using the situation as cover for optics. Spittin Chiclets are the Tkachuk's Bob McCown. We're getting 5 months of unparalleled trade speculation.

It's a way more contentious version of every player saying "yeah I want to stay I hope we get something done" referring to their contract extension when they already told their agent to block the GMs number.

Obviously, it bothers him, and he is entitled to that. It's not my place to dictate how he should feel about it. But I have a hard time believing it would be the issue it's presented as in that Tweet if he was playing for say the Maple Leafs in an alternate reality where the Leafs actually won.

Sucks Brady is getting caught up in this tariff war - he seems to truely love Ottawa and playing for Canadian fans. He’s pure passion and so are we about our hockey, Match made in heaven but like everything these days it’s become political and divisive.

I don’t buy the theory Austin Matthews wants to leave Toronto because of booing or Sidney Crosby is going to leave Pitt because he’s Captain Canada patriotic - it’s stupid.

But I do think lost in all this is Brady’s love for Ottawa (even though he says it all the time) and love for Canada, love for the fans and love for the game we created.

Anyways - he’s a good egg, he’s just been out in a pot of boiling water and I honestly think he just wants to win hockey games and championships and have a parade in the Canadian Capital and jump into the canal with Thomas Chabot - it’s to bad all this side show stuff is happening

But I’ll still boo the American anthem, because their President and his government is an asshole.

Sure Brady loves Ottawa and wants to win but if the team heads south again in the next 2 years for whatever reason, he will be gone.
In the back of his mind I'm sure he has thought about one day playing for the Blues or joining his brother in Florida.
