what is wrong with what i said? 60 points then is 70 now, and 70 then is 80 now.

Brady is a 65-75 player who can hit 80's in peak seasons.

There are 3 players on this Team that can't play a complete 5on5 hockey that costed us past 3 seasons, but eventually this Team has learned to win despite their respective short comings when it comes to 5on5 hockey

Big kudos to the defense core, the goalie and the new coach

lmao and people wanted to trade him
Figures that the best he's played in the year 2025, he wasn't even in our jersey.

I think there was one or two guys here who wanted to trade him. I think there was a lot of trade speculation when were near the basement of the league, but that isn't the same as not wanting to build around him.

There is one poster who really doesn't like him as a player, but I don't name names. He can step forward if he wants.

Gotta look at the positives.

6+ years into his pro career, this is the first time he has played something resembling playoff hockey. If we make it into the playoffs, this experience will be valuable for him.

It’s nice to see other fans recognize and appreciate Brady for the player that he is. He is underrated on HFboards and some still think he’s a plugger 3rd liner .

Hes a top end player and deserves to be recognized as such.

We have a true gem and we need to do everything we can to keep him here for the duration of his contract

He is sort of like Erling Haaland where he is at his best playing a very specialized offensive game where he is running people over, crashing the net, doing give and go's instead of being the one who is holding the puck and creating plays.

we really need to get one more elite talent to take the pressure off Bady.

We shouldn't have let him go to this, because if we miss the playoffs, he will absolutely want out now. This tournament gave him a taste for real competitive international hockey. If we don't make it in the playoffs for the seventh years straight, he is going ask out of his contract so that he can play in the Spengler cup.
Brady doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would ask out of a contract. If we don't make the playoffs and keep improving every year as a team then I can se him not re-signing with Ottawa.

I agree, but I'm concerned with Sam Gagner being so close to the team, that he could see him on the entire experience.

Now that I look it up, there is no US team in the Spengler, but I wouldn't count out HC Davos, they seem like they would soft tamper.

such a loser mentality. Don't let your top guys go to a tournament cause you are afraid of losing him. I think having your top guys play and get airtime really moves the Senators branding forward. Seeing Werenski play really showed me how skilled he is

I miss the swag that the sens fan base had during the pizza line days. Maybe I am just getting older and remembered when other teams hated playing us and the Pizza line was know throughout the league

Best on best tournaments really help small market teams imo

lol, shouldn’t have let him go, that would just piss him off, as would anyone that’s healthy.

I gotta disagree here. Brady has made strides in his D game, but he's been ass offensively and is on a bad dry streak. This tournament might be the catalyst in getting him back to PPG form, or heck, just better than he's been the last 10-15 games.

Since four different posters have quoted me, I feel like I have to point out that I don't think the 4 Nations is going to actually be the catalyst to get Brady to abandon his pro career to try and win the Spengler cup.

Gaffes like this are why I wasn't invited into the luxury box for the presentation at the Sharks game. My assistant-captaincy is hanging by a thread, but thankfully coach Micklebot is patient.

When Brady plays with Stutzle & Giroux they are the best line, when he plays with Norris & Batherson they are the best line & even when he played with Greig & Pinto they were great together. The best players make the players around them better & Brady has proven just that. Players could through ups & downs throughout a season & Brady has been the first or second leading scorer on this yr almost every yr he has been here, that's consistency. And when playing with other great players he shines with them as well, the guy is becoming the premier power forward in the NHL. Ottawa is lucky to have him, he's what they have always lacked as a team, imagine him on that Stanley Cup final team.
