I think the bigger concern tonight was how many times the puck was on his stick within 3 feet of the net and it felt like he got zero shots out of those chances. Same for Norris. A lot of pucks sliding through the crease instead of on target.

Brady Tkachuk plays the LA Kings style of hockey. And they bullied him. Without Doughty.

Every game I get more and more convinced he's a top 6 forward. A really good second line guy. But he's been miscast as a captain and top line winger with this team.

Sens fan deserve to see Brady Tkachuk on a winning team.

Brady Tkachuk deserves to be on a winning team

Trade him so we can enjoy this talent and not see him rot away with this franchise

I don’t really care about what he “deserves” but when it’s all said and done it’s going to be sad looking back at it and realized we wasted his prime years with two of the worst coaches in NHL history.

Whether they’re the reasons the team sucked is debatable, but they’re two coaches known for being perenniel losers and we couldn’t even be bothered to try a proven winner for a full season.

He needs to be the 3rd most skilled player on a top line. He is a power forward not the play driver.

Tkachuk - Stutzle - actual first line skill/speed player

I care. For the good of the franchise and we don’t get the reputation as a deadens team where you go to die like Arizona or Buffalo. Trade him.

It’s going to be ugly, it’s going to be sad, but it’s the right thing to do.

Brady deserves to go play for a winner. We should trade him

Any player who has that mentality is a born loser and this team shouldn't want them anyways unless they have McDavid level talent. Actually scratch that. We tried and failed with Daigle so I stand by my first sentence.

Then Wayne Gretzky is a born loser. So is Micheal Jordan. So is Bobby Orr.

This is 'his' team don't forget. You don't give a guy captaincy to win him a championship - he's suppose to lead you there. 4 years now? What has changed?

So the captain is playing like he aint buying what the coaches are selling... just like he was when JM took over. He is playing like he wants out

are you surprised he wants out?

He just wants to be liked when he does it. That’s the main sticking point, Brady wants to be recognized for what he did and not be a villain

What were the Chicago Bulls before Jordan? What were the Edmonton Oilers before Gretzky?

Seems to me like winners win wherever they go. Losers bitch and moan to be moved to somewhere they can win - sometimes they win, sometimes they don't.

Yes he wears a letter, but if the team comes out in such a crucial 3rd period looking flat against a tired team, who’s that on more, Brady or Green. Brady has his flaws, but he’s one player and he’s not the one complaining about long plane rides in the post-game scrum.

The coach is obviously covering for his players' effort. Do you think he sincerely believed that?

Fine. So what can the coach or Brady do then individually? The Sens were the more desperate team and were cluelessly running around to start the 3rd period, and assuminly had the better legs.

Neither Travis or Brady have much of a successful track record so I’ll blame both.

Green can't seem to motivate players
The defensive coverage in our own zone sucks too.

I agree Green shares the blame. Between him and Tkachuk they can't motivated this team to skate hard like early in the season.
And the fact they're not skating makes Green's schemes so much f***ing worse because we look like we're on the penalty kill every time a team forechecks us and recovers the puck for zone time.

The weight of Travis’s track record is suddenly extremely heavy. Doesn’t feel like he has the answers

Staois too you have to question if he’s the right guy for the job. Brutal signings

The idea to hire him never made any sense. He could be guy, but it was such an unncessary gamble. Evason was by far the safer choice, and he’s doing pretty great things with a Columbus team that has half our talent.

no coach is gonna win when their players and most of all if the team captain isn't serious about winning.

go look at that screenshot in the last page.

2-3 game in the last 5 minutes of the game when the team is fighting for their playoff lives.

and what does the captain do?

he's done this numerous times in the last month alone.

not only that but everyone is blaming greig for the too many men. but that is brady who instead of backhecking starts strolling to the bench and then changes his mind. the bench and the coaching staff was probably confused as to what the f*** brady was doing.

Brady isn't serious about winning.
