It’s probably the winger on pace for 43g and 90pts, while being one of the most physically dominant players in the league, and not the goalie just inside the top 64 in save percentage.

He didn’t steal your puppy.

He didn't steal my puppy but he cheats this team of defensive effort as captain which is just as bad.

And I do hold others accountable I have been critical of Chabot last few years but this year he has made big gains so my critique has turned to praise.

I have been critical of Stutzle and his whiny and emotional behaviour last few years but this year he has been relatively stoic and all buisness.

When Brady tries defensively I point it out and commend him for it.

I get critical when I see him give that effort 1 in 10-15 games though.

There is a reason why this team has the shaky and loser mentality it does, and Brady's on ice actions play a role in that.

Something has to change or this team will continue to be a loser team.

Brady's actions should be the easiest thing to change so why does it feel like pulling teeth?

Dude is not a rookie anymore, he has almost 500 games, thats half his career. time for excuses and blaming coaches is done.

No need to get cheeky here. Some players are paid and are expected to have a bigger role and impact on wins and losses, in a Team game

That might be true, but I'd blame Ullmark for more losses than Brady. Don't get me wrong, I think his leadership isn't right for this team so far, but Ullmark has done more to sink the team with horrid performances than Tkachuk's wack D.

Of those 7 have a winning record, of those 5 play for Vegas, Edmonton, Florida, and Colorado.

If you take .880 or less there are 9 goalies, of which 3 have winning records and 2 of them play for Colorado.

I guess you’re making the age old argument that having a goalie in the bottom 10% of 64 goalie spots is not an indicator of success or failure?

I mean his strenght is still an issue, and likely will be in playoffs. doesn't mean he hasn't elevated his game though.

He also conveniently left out the fact that Brady has played 300+ games and never had a winning record. But he is only focused on those 11 games with Ullmark

But lets just focus on last 2 seasons where Brady's stats hasn't helped in the Team having a winning record which is a factual statement.

We are quite aware that there are other factors too but the Brady part should be mentioned on a Thread that is dedicated to Brady. Isn't that how it is done? Or should I be talking about Cousins on this Thread?

I get being frustrated and wanting changes, I've also mused that maybe it's time this summer, but there's way too much hyperbole and repeat posts to be taken seriously. Some by posters that have no interest in posting unless they're bashing the team. Even when nobody responds, this thread gets bumped with a fresh bash Brady post. Gets a little old. If he needs to move on, the time will come, now is not it.

I like how having one of the worst starting goalies in the NHL by both stats and eye test is not the focus or root cause, but anecdotal stories about a guy’s defence who is on pace for career best 43g and 90pts while playing a unicorn physical game is obviously the problem.

If he were not atrocious in even 2 of the 7 really bad starts (as qualified earlier by someone as being extraordinarily bad) we would be sitting in a wild card spot with everyone signing the teams praises.

yes you are technically correct in 1 aspect - if we had one of the top 5 teams in the league we could also have a goalie 1 win over .500

There is nothing more obviously responsible for this teams record than the absolute shit goaltending they’ve received most nights.
It’s not even sort of debatable.

Had we not received absolutely shit goaltending on even 2 of the 7-10 objectively shit starts they’ve combined for we’d be in a playoff position.

Forseberg has genuinely played good but he is only 500. That is still a mediocre non playoff record.
