Now in replying to you, Maybe it’s from having to deal with Montreal fans here. I’d value nuke more than necas. He won’t be traded for Brad Marchand, you can take that to the bank. You’d have to add significantly and we know that’s not appealing to your side.

Of course it does lol. Him being the best player in the deal means nothing if he doesn't play. The risk attached to him severely lowers his value.

His trade value sucks, but his value to the Avs when he's on the ice is immense. Anyone who wants him in a trade needs to make it worthwhile for the Avs or they'll happily keep him. They aren't trading him for pennies on the dollar, even with the risks involved. I'm guessing you can appreciate why.
