The Bruins are in a tough spot right now and they might have to have some long, tough conversations with their Captain if things keep going south. As a Bruins fan, it pains me to say that, but it's a realistic possibility that shit could hit the fan by the trade deadline.

Marchand and MacKinnon are good buddies which is why I think he would possibly be open for a move there if it comes to that. Again, just spit balling.

Would something around Marchand & Nichushkin be a possibility?

Definitely a possibility, not a fan of Marchands age and that he's UFA after this season though

Wait... Who's the superstar here.

Nichushkin is the closest to being a superstar at this point quite frankly
Nichushkin is injured and just coming off a half season suspension for substance abuse.

Why would Boston trade a franchise legend and productive player for a guy with substance abuse problems and isn't healthy when they're in the middle of a playoff push?

Ask the Boston fan who started this thread.

There's a lot of snow on them mountains in Denver.

This trade also doesn't need to happen today. This is more towards the deadline. The Bruins are slipping badly.
