My NHL.com bracket has Chicago beating the Rangers in the Final and I wanted to vomit. XD

Basically, Chicago over Nashville. Minnesota over St Louis. Chicago over Minnesota. They avoid having to face Winnipeg or Calgary until a Conference final.
Calgary and Winnipeg I think have the momentum and fire to get past the Ducks and Canucks. It's not just wishful thinking. Lotta people already counting the Flames out. Same with the Jets really. But they would have to go through each other to get to the Conference final. I think Calgary has the comeback nature to get past the Jets. I think Chicago's experience and the return of Kane gets them past Calgary.

In the east, I have Montreal cleaning house until they meet up with the Lightning who have had their number. I also have the Rangers burning through the ranks and dumping the Lightning because I don't think the Lightning play a strong enough D game and Bishop isn't as good as Lundqvist as much as we don't like him.

So that leaves Chicago and the Rangers. I think Chicago can do to the Rangers what the Kings did, even with a better Rangers team.

Man I'm pumped for the playoffs. Sucks that the Kings aren't in it but as a hockey fan this is my favorite time of year. The first round is a ****ing blast.

Got the Selanne Cup series, just a year too late. You'd love to see Rangers/Islanders in the 2nd round, but I'm going with the Caps to win the Cup. Kesler Cup in the 2nd would be fun. It's a year of change in the NHL, so not completely sure Chicago gets to the 2nd round, just because that's the kind of season it seems to be, and I'd like to see Nashville do it, but who knows. Montreal/Ottawa should be a good series.
