Having a format that allows a bracket style playoff is something the league has definitely done right. Great for pools and easier to bring interest from casual fans. You can also visualize your teams path to the final.

I still think it should be confenerce seedlings (not division), so we don’t get the same teams playing each other 5 years in a row. But they should keep the bracket and never go back to the reseeding format.
