The color of the lettering makes me think they're doing some adaptation of the original 1924-25 jersey

i.e.

They've used brown in WC jersey before, but it's been white where the logo is, and the lettering wouldn't show up on a white background.

Saw something "odd" in the NESN pregame tonite..

Was only there briefly as they were showing the crowd filing in, but it looked like the Proshop/concessions

One the jerseys they were selling looked like this:

But with the Pooh Bear where the number is. Was definitely not the reverse retro with the jagged stripes
