They should be able to get a really good young center in the draft as long as they draft top 6. Add that to McAvoy, Pasta, and hopefully Swayman and they’ll be back in a solid place soon enough. Defense is pretty good too, but those centers are awful.
Even if they’re terrible next year as well, I probably wouldn’t sell off. Adding two top five picks (including a top 6 C) to really good and fairly young players at W, D, and G is a better place than most refresh/rebuild type teams are. If they’re terrible three years in a row, I think at that point you consider moving Pasta and McAvoy. Until then, this is the way to be bad. If you’re going to miss the playoffs, miss by a lot.
