Boston is now last in the East and 4th worst in the league.

The Tampa, Boston, Florida & Toronto streak of leading the Atlantic is now over.

Some people had them dropping out of the playoffs, but I don't think many had them falling this hard.

The Swayman contract is a problem if he doesn't bounce back.

Do they retool and hope Swayman returns to form?

Or do they go full rebuild?

Masterful tank I must say, 10 losses in a row, they'll draft their Bergeron 2.0 in the top 5 (Desnoyers) and the rebuild will start.

I have way more respect for Boston than teams like Pittsburgh or Chicago who tanked their way to cups which is respectable and the pretty obvious decision 99% of the time.

The Bruins will be back in a couple of years and people will talk about the black hole that the Bruins were in in 2025. Give me a break. Try being a Jackets fan with 1 series win in 25 years and that win was a miracle.

What's the pick / prospect cupboard like? It would seem crazy to trade away Pasta or McAvoy given their ages - the pool would have to be bankrupt to go total firesale. I think what they did at the deadline was reasonable, honestly, but Swayman's contract at the start of the season is an oof way to kick things off.

Yup, we hate Boston almost as much as you guys do and I'm not looking forward to them picking high and probably getting a great player because they're overdue and of course they will.
