No secret that this team will go as far as Carey Price takes it. Not an inch further.

Without a great Carey Price this team is very beatable every night.

We're not even getting an average Carey Price for the last 3 months. It's the worst I've seen him play since his rookie year.

You know Lars Eller was there when we fell apart last year too right.

The absence of a 20 point third line center is not "hurting us" to this degree, come on.

the whole team quit on the coach, and eller never knew his role. i think he was pretty open about that in an interview.

Nobody wants MT gone more than me but I will credit him for most of this season. He had this team playing well and was improved from a roster mgmt and systems perspective. For the most part he did a good job this year.

And if this was his rookie season I'd be far more inclined to give him some more rope. Problem is that there's too much bad history here. And when Chuck came back and he went back to his old nonsense that was it for me. Sure enough we go into a scoring slump and start losing games. He deserves what he gets now.

Still don't think he'll get fired though.

Hate to break it to you guys but when was the last time a coach got fired when his team had a 6 pt division lead this late into the season? It's not happening.

If our bye-week was 2 weeks later and we had blown our lead and was out of a playoff spot, it would've been a real possibility.

Sens have 5 games in hand after tonight!
