One of the most exciting Sens games I seen in a while. That was certainly a playoff style game and the boys came ready to play.
This Is one of those games that felt like you could go back and pinpoint when things changed for the better. Not that I expect them to go on some huge winning streak, but I think there was a click tonight with them and tonight's game is one that seems like it changes everything. That look like a team that was fighting for each other every shift. I was proud to be a Sims fan this game.
There was a lot of outstanding performances by a lot of players tonight, so many that you could almost list the entire team. One player that really stood out to me though was Norris. This game and the past few games have shown to me. This is why we got this player and why we don't trade this player. No one will ever give us the value that he can bring to the table and there's a lot more to his game. Injuries have slowed them down and it'll always hold back. Trade value and what he brings to the table is worth more than we'll ever get for him.
This is a quick turnaround game and after coming off of a huge win like this, not sure how they turn it around so quickly but whatever happens happens I don't care. This was a great game for the franchise I believe.

Ottawa is for real. The determination, belief, team chemistry, next man up - all the intangibles winning teams have the Sens have it all.
Seeing Chabot with that bucket and all the bandages and his team wins it late it’s what the attitude of the team is in one image, pure savagery and disciplined animal instinct. Love Chabot, an all time heart guy for the jersey. Sens logo proud to see this guy in the locker room every day.
And Brady doesn’t fight anymore but this team to me is way way way tougher than they were when Brady would fight anyone he picked off the bingo card. The team shows a completely different level of toughness and it’s throughout the lineup, they are wild dogs on loose pucks, monk like discipline in their positioning, hustle like being in proximity to the puck is a life force, play with the passion of little kids. Didn’t like seeing Brady get pushed around and shove back with his gloves on, but all that focus is on winning now and that was a turn the franchise around type game.

Well I think it a result, from years ago, when the NHL foolishly decided to participate in the Olympics. The NHL bent over backwards for the IOC, paused their session, at the most crucial time of the schedule mind you, and forced themselves to compress the NHL schedule…… then came the “week” off, that all teams get during a regular season that isn’t interrupted with an Olympics and this year the 4 Nations Cup.
So now we essentially see a watered down product on the ice because of the kind of scheduling you’re seeing today. Instead of seeing reasonably well rested teams for every game, and more “maintenance “ days for some players, and fewer starts per season for the Starting goaltender ….. this is the NHL today.
Some people would prefer going back to the days when the NHL product was better, no interruptions for tournaments of any kind, no more loss of key players from injuries from participating in those tournaments, during the most important stretch of the NHL season.
One could make the argument that Ottawa lost an almost certain Stanley Cup because of a player injured while playing in a tournament shoved into the NHL schedule….

It was one of the best games to be at. What a great atmosphere. When they scored the fourth goal, the building was pumped, and you saw Leevi skating to the bench fist pumping his teammates. The tying goal was absolutely bonkers in the sense of the fans cheering. What a finish—loads of emotions. I loved Leevi's reactions every time the team scored. This kid seems like he came out of nowhere.
Building was dead for most of the game.
Worst defensive game the Sens have played in a while, gave up a ton of rush chances.
Team didn’t quit, scored 5 and moved into a playoff spot.
Need to be better to beat good teams but fun ending.

ok lol I really had to go with like 5 mins left in the 3rd, team was down 5-3 anyway and they were 0-14-0 when trailing after 2 this season so a comeback was very unlikely
Can you say it was probably the biggest Norris goal of his career so far? Sens could NOT afford to lose this game in regulation. It was about time for OFFENSE to win a game. This one needs to be the turnaround for them, turning a corner, taking the next step as a team, have some sense of urgency, some fire in their bellies and not just be on "cruise control" like you feel they are most of the time
Sanderson had a fantastic game, you can see that playing with Zub is progressively fixing him. I don't want to see him play a SINGLE minute with Hamonic again, he is KEY to this rebuild god damnit.
I see some negative comments on Tkachuk and Chabot but they respectively had 89.39 and 67.31 xGF% so they must have done something good.
This paired with the Habs losing is a big sigh of relief
Sucks that I won't be able to watch today's game live. Weekend PM games suck a bit

He has been much much better this year but yesterday in particular Boston honed in on him and gave him no time and space for a shot and he didn't adjust.
I thought Pinto was everywhere yesterday in a good way. Could've had a few goals if it wasn't for Swayman

Also their nickname is pazza Inter lol. Watching them for 25+ years I’ve seen some incredible melt. Downs and disappointments. But obviously of all my sports teams they’ve brought me the most joy and they’ve also won me a champions league which is the biggest accomplishmentHey, Inter just got their title, nothing to complain about!

I also think that Pasta trying one of those cheeky little off speed shot through the 5 hole moves was part of it.
I don’t know if this game needs to be a turnaround. They were playing fine before this this game feels like an outlier defensively.
