Rumor: Boston’s 7th oa available

Amusing reading, no doubt.

But am I right when I say that this appears to have come from Jimmy Thin Skins Murphy?

Apologies in advance if I’m wrong. If so, carry on.

Boston owes Vancouver. 39 years ago Harry Sinden and Bart Bradley violated Jack Gordon under the Port Mann Bridge and ripped the last remaining strands out of his skull. A couple more losses the following year abd Vancouver rolls out in 88/89 with the best Right Wing quartet and likely toughest..... ever.

Neely
Shanahan
Linden
Smyl

7th overall for Garland and 15. And the rights to Krazy George.

7th+poitras+zellers+minten he came off an elite season and shown to be a consistent playoff performer that is the base
i don't know enough about boston prospects or vegas needs, but that seems logical. gives vegas a bunch of cheap guys with upside & cap space for other moves. the cheap guys with upside could be shipped off in other trades. boston accelerates the retool and doesn't need to rely on developing these pieces to supplement pasta, swayman & mcavoy.

Sliding or not, if he‘s there at 7th, we should draft Hagens. He couldn‘t possibly be as bad as the last guy we drafted in that neighborhood. This guy:

Well 10 years ago Sweeney didn't think he was worth the 13th pick......or the 14th pick......or the 15th pick. I always find it a bit strange that fans of other teams on this site never remind Bruin fans of that 2015 draft.
I wouldn't move 7 for Barzal at this point....
but I've seen the "The B's didn't think he was worth 15 at the time so..."

That's faulty reasoning. When the player is picked he's a prospect with unknown upside and unknown probability. 24 teams passed on David Pastrnak. Does that mean those teams wouldn't trade a 1st rd pick higher than 25 in this draft for him?
