Only thing memorable about this guy was when it was suspected he was that video game addict the media was reporting on

Then he had to come out and defend his video game usage which was insanely high

In the end it turned out it was actually some Philly first rounder, Rubix Cube or whatever his name is.

I had high hopes for the kid but it just seems like he's never been able to put it all together.

What's up with him?

I'm more optimistic on him than most. He was injured through camp, and most of preseason. He hasn't played many games to get into a groove. Also doesn't help that he's a 4th line type of guy and we aren't breaking that up any time soon.

He took some pretty inexcusable penalties though. Dumb meathead plays or lazy stick infractions. Hopefully he can find his game with some consistent playing time in Providence and when the injury bug inevitably hits, he can come up and kill it in his 2nd stint.

I think the problem is, this has kind of been the story with him through his whole career. He's always either injured or "not in a groove", taking some dumb penalties, or just making numbskull plays for no good reason.

It's too bad, because he's got all the tools to be a good 4th line banger who can chip in a little bit offensively. He's just never really "got it". Whether that's due to constant injuries derailing his development or just...not being a very smart player, he is what he is at this point. Just not a disciplined player at all, in any facet of the game.

I always find it funny how Virtanen, Max Jones, Chase de Leo, Brandan Lemieux are all really good friends.

Very Very low IQ players. Just blunt instruments
