Is he going on waivers tomorrow or are they going to have him on the NHL team?
It's a 1-way deal. (which for the avoidance of doubt for anyone reading, just means he gets paid the same salary regardless of whether he is the NHL or AHL, it doesn't guarantee anyone a spot necessarily). I suppose they could do whatever they want now that he's under contract, but I don't think he would have signed if it was just to go to the AHL. I think all signs point to NHL.

Tyler Johnson still has game. And the Bruins are desperate for forward help. Makes a ton of sense.

Hope he does well.

I mean…he can still play hockey, yes. Lol

But He’s a shell of what he was in Tampa and is made of glass.

Seems like a good guy though, hope he gets some playoff games.

Tj was a force to be reckoned with in Chicago. Powered them through to drafting 1 st and 3 rd over all in consecutive years.

I predict TJ scores the playoff OT goal that eliminates Toronto from the 1 st round of the playoffs this year… ( again)

Now watch the Red Wings make the playoffs only to face the Bruins in the first round and get torched by Tyler Johnson like they did in 2015 and 2016.

Considering the comments from Foligno at the end of last season and it seems to me there were more than a few players that were happy to see TJ walk out the door.

He was bad offensively slow and worse defensively. Puck would just die on his stick night after night. Hope he works out for the B's but he looked washed last year.

I think it’s just a question if he is playing on the third line as the 9th best guy in the top nine if his offensive skills can play up if everyone else is doing most of the work. Probably not. But for a team starved for finishing, why not.
