Yea everyone upset about him fighting, he doesn't bring much more than that, so if a guy on the opposing team is chasing him around asking for it, he really has no choice no matter the score.

An honestly Smith knows it’s the fringy’s guy job and if he doesn’t do it he won’t have one.

I hate when “star” tough guys make fun of the depth tough guys while they refuse to fight them. (I’m talking about Mariah Carey-esque “I don’t know him” shit.)

Smith seems like a good guy and he was obliging this nobody when his own job doesn’t require that fight. I bet Smith doesn’t mock fringe call-ups (granted it’s partly because he’s been a tweener himself but I like “A Pro’s Pro”).

It's exactly why Gibson isn't a good goalie anymore.

If you wanna argue that he's checked out then fine, but you can't prove that's why he sucks and expect Toronto or some team to actually send ASSETS and VALUABLES to Anaheim to take his remaining 5 years (now only 4 after this) at frickin over $6 million.

Yeah, they're a BAD team. POORLY COACHED as well.

But he turns what should be a 3-1 or 4-1 loss into 5, 6, 7 goals against way too many times. Especially this year.
