Well that's the difference between a player with character vs one who always takes the easy way out.
Yes, a player who is gassed at the end of a shift and needs to get off, because he's more of a detriment than he is helpful, shows a lack of character, and taking the easy way out. Have you ever stepped foot on the ice? Honest question. Because anyone who has knows that when you're gassed, and try to extend shifts, bad things happen.

I'd argue that every single player at the end of their shift is generally gassed. Like 30-45 seconds of up and down at NHL pace, and you get gassed. And he was coming off a PK shift.

He's at the end of a PK shift and its a one on three. At this point I'm pretty sure you're just salty that your original prediction that Tuevo would never amount to anything in the NHL was super f***ing wrong.
Yeah, Carolina knew they had a great think going.... or no they didn't. They realized need more grit from their top 6 players!
