Liked the overall effort of the team. Shame that even when they play well they just aren’t a good enough team. That’s on the GM not the coach. He’s making the meals out of the groceries he was provided. Problem is the food still sucks, even from a hall of fame chef.

I wonder how much a good goalie really would give this group confidence. Hellebuyck is so steady at the other end and the players just gain confidence knowing he will clean up mistakes. We don’t have that and haven’t since 2014. Young group really needs that.
