It's unfair to both him and his teammates to throw him into the fire playing huge minutes vs the best players on the planet

Funny thing is as bad as we were it felt like we were one shot/one shift from flipping that game on its head.

We couldn't keep the puck in our possession to save our life.

As I said before and after the Toronto game the biggest thing is to have strong replies to off nights.
If they play well tomorrow then this game just doesn't matter.

82 games and you're going to have some stinkers.
Great teams make sure they don't happen often.
A 2 game sweep of the Panthers would more than make up for this hiccup.
