At 36, he has 1 year left after this on his current contract on a good Florida team where he'll see the lion's share of starts so he'll be able to rack up quite a few more wins there, he could easily play another 3-4 years after that if he wants which would probably put him at 500, remains to be seen if that happens.

400 wins, 1 x Cup, 2 x Vezina, 3 x all star games for the future hall of famer.

Yeah, but they never won that many games (never a dominant 110+ point team as I remember). I guess he might have had a big workload.

He’s been top 10 in the nhl in wins quite a bit:

2012-13 NHL 21 (7th)
2013-14 NHL 32 (10th)
2016-17 NHL 41 (3rd)
2017-18 NHL 37 (5th)
2018-19 NHL 37 (2nd)
2020-21 NHL 19 (10th)
2021-22 NHL 39 (1st)
2023-24 NHL 36 (3rd)

Huh? That was unexpected. When reading the article on NHL.com I was sure he's the fastest Russian goaltender to get 400 wins.

Dryden retiring at 397 wins open the door at it being more possible, no tie era are more win heavy, but still surprising.

Roy took more games (753) to reach 400 wins (he had 90 ties after those 753 first games) and he played only on strong team outside a single season IIRC.

There was a 108-point season in there. Bob made the playoffs in Columbus far more than he didn't, but it's easy to forget that because they were never better than third in the division even in that 108-point season because the Metro was dominated by two teams with generational superstars.

Very hard to be a dominant team people are talking about in the same division as prime Crosby and prime Ovechkin, that's for sure.

Brodeur took 720. But yeah, in terms of past eras, those are the main ones you have to beat. Great from the moment they stepped on the ice in the NHL, played for good to great teams. Obviously the reason they didn't do this is because of ties (105 ties for Brodeur), but still great for Bob.

Fun fact: he was that too!

Yes, the big factor for Goalies now vs. then is there are no ties. So take roughly half the ties (probably slight better when talking about elite goaltenders) and convert them to wins for prior gen goaltenders for a more like to like comparison.
