I wasn't a huge fan of Olczyk, but he was almost out of the control with regard to the Rangers. Bad enough he was for the Hawks. He might have a hit out on Alec Martinez for having the death blow on both teams.

Which was a dick move because he player here too.
Well at least he got us Muzz

Roflmao. I love hearing Fox going nuts and losing his mind in the backround.

Let's see if Hayward wants to talk **** about his ring now with Foxy standing there with two on his hands, one ripped out of the hands of the Ducks organization no less. Muahahahahah!

Someone tweet Nostradamus Fox the 2011 Freeway Faceoff predictions video, stat. 3 year window cashed in to the tune of 2 Cups.

Here's a shorter version where they talk about who is closer to winning a Cup.

Hayward is such a smug and arrogant tool. Jim Fox was right on the money.

Thank you. I was disappointed when I didn't see Bob and Jim anywhere on the ice last night, or them holding the cup at any point. Was beginning to wonder if they were even there. Love the call. It's a travesty that these two cannot represent us during our proudest moments of triumph.

I watched a Swedish news report and you could see him walking around out there on the ice, so I guess he got out there eventually. And you could see Justin Williams count to five in Swedish, is there anything that man can't do?

He was out there. I saw him out there with a microphone, along with Foxy. Mere minutes after the game ended.

But I didn't stay long enough to see if he got the Cup...I was there when they were handing the Cup to everyone, including Daryl's son, and some people who were no doubt Kings' employees but I whom I didn't recognize. I left when I saw Bob still holding a microphone and I didn't want to wait forever to see him raise the Cup.

It's too bad but Brown did the right thing to ensure the Kings' employees got to raise the Cup first...I wasn't even sure if they were going to give Bob and Jim the Cup to raise on the ice.

Yeah, the best part is how everything panned out exactly how Fox described, while Hayward's point was just that the Kings are "locked in" with their big players (I know, what a horrible problem it is to be stuck with Quick, Doughty, and Kopitar) while the Ducks have Justin Schultz to fall back on. I love how the last three years have progressed.

Don't worry Ron, I got this...

Not sure what I loved more, The look of absolute shock on AMarts face as he was waiting to hug someone after that goal... Or the sound of Foxy's hysterically happy "YEAH, YEAH, YEAH" behind Bob Millers call of the Cup winning goal. Could someone edit those two together? Theres only one shot of AMarts face after the goal was scored all the others are camera shots from behind. What a priceless moment in our teams history.

So much waiting and near misses. Triple Crown Line, Gretzky years, I thought we might do it when we had the Allison, Palffy, Deader lineup. But all those disappointments, seems like multiple decades ago now. What a run this has been. Thank You Dean, Thank you AEG ownership for making this a real team, an elite team... And not some owners little tax write off toy. This fan since the 72/73 season, is elated beyond words! I discovered hockey young, even before I found The Dodgers. To me LA sports has always been Kings Hockey FIRST and everything else was something to bide my time until the first puck dropped again in my birth month of October. World Series Wins, NBA championships, National titles, Rose Bowls.. Nothing can compare to the thrill of rooting for my boys as they won the Stanley Cup!! I'm still giddy from this last Friday nights Cup win. More than I was in 2012. It was such a run. And as angry as I may have gotten at times, I could not dis-believe after we took the series from the Sharks, that we were not destined for something this truly amazing. for all the thrill of that 2012 run, this one was twice as sweet!

GO KINGS!!!

Slashin

My Avatar from the 2012 run was a bit of prophecy. I've wanted this meeting since 1993 when the Habs beat the Rags and then the Kings. I always wanted, for some odd reason, to beat the Rangers for the Cup. Next it's Boston, But before out great run ends I want the Habs... Just for 93 revenge!!

I think when the summer and as time goes on, people will come to realize how legendary the actual goal was. Since 1954, the only other player to score the Cup-winning goal in OT at home was Bob Nystrom in 1980. More teams have come back down 0-3 during that time.

I'm disappointed no one has used "the Kings have reclaimed their crown" as the line

Hayward is such a smug and arrogant tool. Jim Fox was right on the money.

"Next year starts a 3 year window" in a year they won the Cup themselves.

Justin Schultz, whoops

"The Hockey News says the Ducks have the 3rd best prospects" i don't know how many years in a row websites, including HF, had the Kings at the top, like every damn year.

"gotta do it next year or you're in trouble."

"I don't agree about trading a goaltender and getting much" Lombardi basically traded Bernier for Gaborik, log off Hayward.

I can't wait for next year when he starts talking about how lucky the Kings were after nearly being eliminated by the Sharks and Ducks. There is absolutely no chance the Ducks would have beaten the Blackhawks

Man I hope they do another one of these so Fox can bring out his two rings. :biglaugh: What an @ss!

I posted this in the PGT, but I found interesting that they used Bob's call for the winning goal. Technically his call wasn't on any official broadcast, yet the NHL used it for their official top 10 plays. Not that I'm complaining, I just assumed they would use Nick's call or the National Broadcast call.
