Bob mckenzie (tsn) draft ranking)

Isn't he going to be on TV as well? I thought they usually release it after it's televised.

Shocking. Every year this is the best and most accurate list. This year, it is SOOOO different from the majority of independant scouting services and the general consensus of the fans. I can't remember anything like this, where the REAL experts, the NHL scouts, and the services/fans(let's face it, they usually go hand in hand) have been so far apart.

Really I'm just suprised by Svensson being so low and Larsson being so high. Also, Schroeder is extremely low. At least in comparison to what we've seen so far.

seems like the Kadri comments were written for someone else:

"He's big, lanky and skilled. He uses his size to accentuate his puck skills. Size, reach, stick handling ability, those long kinds of stick movements that Mario (Lemieux) used to make, like (Vincent) Lecavalier makes."

I know Kadri is slick, but he sure isnt big.

A lot of the bios are messed up.

They've swapped Tatar's bio with D'Amigo's and D'Amigo's with David Gilbert's, who doesn't even appear to be ranked...?

Kadri is "Big lanky and skilled" according to McKenzie - He is 5-11/175 -

Dallas will not take Kadri and that is almost a 100% guarantee. If Kulikov is available at #8 Dallas will take him.

I caught that too, odd.

Kane isnt still only 160 lbs, correct?

It is not a mock draft.

Not a mock draft.

It explicitly states in the intro. Draft order is not taken into account.

Purely a ranking of prospects.

I didn't really think it was that surprising, overall. If MPS falls to tenth it'll be shocking, and other eyebrowraisers would be Werek well into the second round and O'Reilly in the first. I also have a tough time seeing how you can possibly rank Rajala that low considering what they write about him (same goes for MPS really).

cheers

Watch where Kyle Clifford goes. I have heard from a few realiable sources he COULD slip into the 1st rd. More likely a 2nd/3rd rd though. I know one team is extremly high on him and have him labbeled as the next Milan Lucic. Apparently this kid a MONSTER in the gym and it translates on the ice. He is impossible to get the puck off in the corner and off the cycle.

Ryan Ellis' style is compared to Reijo Ruotsalainen.

You know what your getting there.

This draft is possibly the best ever. No, this draft is THE best ever. When you got 49 better players than a guy who scored in his last 3 international tournaments almost 3 points per game (and also 39 shutouts in the last season combined!)..wow, that is one hell of a draft... :sarcasm:

But seriously, what if a Canadian player scored those 19 points in U-18 WC.. Where he would be in the rankings?

Id say Kadri is pushing 6'0, 180 lbs right now. Kane is almost 6'0, 175 lbs. Some of the stats used are over a year old. These guys are still growing after all. I mean Kane isnt 18 yet. I think Kane could easily get to 190 lbs, he's got the build for it.
