To be released this upcoming Thursday according to social media showing TSN broadcast schedule. Usually 12 players and a few honourable mentions. Will be interesting to see these as their seems to be less predictably compared to last year. Predictions on the 12?

Reschny would be next IMO, but I went with how I think the list would land.

No problem being wrong.

Hagens #1 for sure. I think Martone, Misa and Frondell will all be top 5, but could certainly be wrong and one (or more) are in the next few spots after 5 (confident none will be too far past 5, though). After that I have much less confidence, it’s still so early and hard to rank.

Please Lord, just one more high end forward, then I can feel that the rebuild will be seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. (Martone pretty please!!)

Who's the last 6' ft or under goalie to go high?
Wolf and Milic are 2 of the best chl goalies i've seen in the last 20 years and they both had to wait till the end of the draft.
Ivankovic would have to be pretty special to buck that trend.

So apparently, according to Central Scouting, Hagens is officially 5'11. I suppose they could be rounding up from 5'10.5, but that is his official height.

At what point do size "concerns" go away for most GMs?

5’11 176 before even turning 18 isn’t really an issue for a guy who is like the most skilled player in the draft. Hughes and Bedard both measured in as smaller than that.

By the way, I lost brain cells reading this line.

Some scouts say Hagens is destined to become a No. 1 NHL centre because he’s so adept at producing offence; others wonder if his size — he was measured and weighed by NHL Central Scouting in the pre-season at 5-foot-11 and 176 pounds — will mean he may be better suited as a second-line centre.
Example #100 that NHL scouts are not overly impressive people. No smarter than the average poster here.

Thrilled to see Mrtka at 12!

Happy to see Benak got a mention so at least he's being noticed.
