I will not reveal my choice because I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.

Many excellent choices nominated. It has to go to Leo, who manages to be super friendly and helpful while also dealing with the frustrations of being a moderator.
He's like the good-cop moderator. While one is getting grilled scorched-earth by bad-cop Machinehead, Leo offers the perp a can of cola and explains rationally that hurtful posts can hurt.

bernmeister is on this list? Is he nice in between ranting and raving about his detractors?
1. tell it like it is, let your conscience be your guide
2. yes, b'c that is literally a handful of people, all who will say I'm wrong if I say "water is not wet", does not apply to everyone,
3. most people apparently have sufficient respect for me, thank you to the 99+% to whom this applies.
4. Enough have said I'm nice, who have met me, they would know, you have not, so you do not.

Just to prove how nice I can be,
I'm gonna let you off easy this time:

The more you rant
the more you rave
makes you less of a king
and more of a knave

He's actually very delightful. I met him.
1. you are too kind.
2. like the line in Shakespeare in Love where they are talking about the play must "go on, go on",, I'll just say:
notice I didn't say stop, just that you're too kind

do I vaguely resemble that remark?: leave it for you guys to say
Nice? def yes
Nicest? Sure there are others...

Welcome to the club.
If you're old, I gotta be Methuselah

@Leonardo87 isn't just one of the nicest people here; he's one of the nicest people anywhere.

I am still thankful that I got three votes... probably from people I cooked for at some point, lol.
I'll tell you a quick thing about Leo. I went last season when the Rangers were playing the Ducks, so naturally, I planned with Leo to say hi before the game. He and his cousin had been sat down at the bar to eat, and Leo hassled the waitress (in a nice way!) to move them to a whole ass other table so I could sit with them. I would have just stood up but he wasn't having it. He's a good man.
