Thanks guys to know people appreciate it , means a lot to us. Plus i frankly cant get enough of Ranger info lol

I'll listen to the second and third broadcasts. Jess is horrible, he doesn't even watch the kids. He'll pretend to know all about the new draftees, too.

Your show is great. I'm looking forward to it.

ASk Leslie how Bustchev is doing. I watched him play in 2 preseason games and she called him a can't miss prospect and how great he was. I stated he was lazy out of shape and non hard worker guess I was right lol

She never called anyone a cant miss player ever, she just loved Grachev's Stride !

I just listened to the show. I agree, John Mitchell sucks. Brandon Prust got too many years at too much money.

But we did miss Prust.

Will definitely tune in tomorrow and Wednesday. Enjoy the show a lot.

Thanks Bob you HF posters opinion means a lot to us, we know a good portion of you guys live and die Rangers hockey 12 months a year.

So Russ says Andrew Gross told him at the draft that McIlrath shattered his knee cap and the Rangers are still worried about it? I thought it was dislocated or something.

Didn't Gordie just say it was almost 100 % when he talked to Jim Cerny ?

I think what she said towards the end of the broadcast , every ranger fan should listen to. leslie is always conservative in her opinions of players but the glowing remarks she made about the Rangers future gave me a real good feeling about the organization as far as youth.

She really loved the Kristo deal.

thanks for tuning in jabroni LGR !!

Mouth, I really appreciate your show. To me it's treat. A door into the Rangershere. I know you have commented on the Cassandra nature of our fan base. I like to think I'm not that way. I guess we all have a different take away from things we listen to. But far from a ringing endorsement, I heard some fairly disturbing and negative things from two of your guests, Cohen and Treff.

Mainly the lack of definitive positives and the overall high level of uncertainty was striking....at least to me.

A few items:

- Major step back for a number of the organizations top prospects. Especially Kreider and McIlrath.

- Cohen's take on McIlrath was that fans should not expect McIlrath to ever make the team. "He's not coming." That his knee was essentially "destroyed".

- We'll wait and see what happens.

....repeated over and over again

I try and be patient, but I heard this so many times I began to wonder why we were having the discussion. We're listening to people who are supposed to have inside information and insight. They need to bring more to the discussion than...

We'll wait and see what happens.

Folks need to be pressed more on specifics and why they have the take they do please.

Just my take. Thanks for listening.

No problem. I only tuned in for 45 minutes to an hour, but it was great. Leslie's insight was very cool. She was very excited about the Kristo trade. What she said about Gaborik was pretty shocking as well.

I was planning on calling in Mouth like I sometimes do but work conflicts caused me to pass out and listen to the podcast x3. A couple of things to point out.

1. I like Russ Cohen but he is no doctor and should stop trying to play one. McLIrath's knee was NOT destroyed, it was dislocated. Cherneski's knee was destroyed. Frolov's knee was destroyed. Bobby Carpenter's injury was worse. It takes one year. He'll be fine. Let's see what he can do in camp and also I believe he gets a cup of coffee this season.

2. The Gaborik situation shouldn't surprise anyone. He had an abdominal injury the end of the season and I don't know if he needed surgery or what his status was. He'll be in the NHL this year, but there's a decent chance he either goes back to Europe or becomes a mercenary signing short term deals. He may very well score 40 goals this year but we'll see what happens.

3. On Leslie saying "we'll see what happens" that's totally the most fair assessment. Many of these kids will be NHLers but no one knows how good or how soon. We'll see what AV does. I'd love to have Lindberg start at 4C and bump Pyatt out of the lineup to form the all centers line (Lindberg, Boyle, Moore), or play Fast with Nash and give him PP time, but that's what camp is for. We don't know who will play well, who develops chemistry, etc.

4. Interesting draft by the Rangers and Gordie just because there has been a lot of heat given to Gordie and his staff during this past shortened and wacky season. The stereotype was they only pick big ole' rugged Canadian boys from the W or O, college kids, and a token Swede. They went to the Q twice, and picked a Russian after many people thought the Rangers were scared of Russians after Cherepanov. That was never true to begin with because it's been mentioned that if Vasilevsky was available last year, he was their guy.

Fair & good points all.

I just think people that hold themselves out as at least better informed than the rest of us need to do a better job of supporting their statements. That goes for all three guests. Leslie may feel a little burned by how effusive she was over Gratchev. No one has a crystal ball. So I understand her prudent caution. Especially with this organizations luck. But when discussing a kid the Rangers feel is a top prospect, you need to break down why you see a that kid the way you do better. With more specifics / detail. She was hitting the "EASY" button a bit too much. Just my opinion.

I agree that Clark & Co. did a decent job this draft. I don't get a good feel for Tambellini or the Dman they took. The Russian kid and DuClair could be really interesting picks in a year or two but what the hell do I know. This one will be interesting down the road for sure.
