O’Reilly, Perron, Hoffman.I cant name one player on this roster (besides Faulk) who’s played up to their potential this year. Every player has another level to their game based on past play. I hope we see it once the playoffs start.
I was thinking Husso looks very Allen-like tonight.Good 1st Period for The Blues overall. They started off a little sluggish, but picked it up and defended well for much of the period. Husso was excellent getting back to make acrobatic saves when he overplayed his anticipated plays (he must have learned that from Allen, before he left!)
He and coaches have decided that him coming out of the box during the end of a penalty kill is actually not a bad idea, thus they've done it I think since he came back from the Pens or DucksHow does DP draw the short straw to always take the too many men and delay of game penalties?
Sorry for the delay folks. Just got off work and catching up now....

Husso has great lateral quickness and all the tools you’d hope to see in a young goalie. Hopefully he can take the next step towards being a NHL-caliber backup. The results havent been there yet, but he’s not hopeless once he’s dialed in.
O’Reilly, Perron, Hoffman.
Were you looking for more than 50 points out of either?O’Reilly and Perron have been good, I wouldn’t say great. I think both have another gear, a playoff gear. Hoffman has been better since the TDL. I think with this team being a veteran team, we’ll see another level when the playoffs start.

Well, that McDavid dude got 100, so they should be in that neighborhood right? Were you looking for more than 50 points out of either?
that and it allows him to watch it into the glove.. and buys just a little time to adjust when moving it back to the bodyHusso looks like he is holding his glove out in front of him a little more when in position tonight. For our goalies on the forum, will that help him react better vertically with his glove hand when tracking shots?

That’s great in my book. That’s why I said they’ve been good.

The Blues are easily the most overlooked team in the playoffs right now, especially when healthy.
He’s been a little leaky high and lower glove side, so I was wondering if this was a coaching progression to help him react better high and low on the glove side.It cuts down on the angle shooters have, allows better vision and tracking of the puck to the glove and I can't tell but if he's holding it slightly higher it helps cut down on being sniped high glove like he was against the Wild last time.
