I don't know, I'm conflicted on what to do on Monday. I want to believe, and what Binny said "we're coming" and the other part of me wants to sell as I don't think they'll go far.
They have proven in the last several games that they deserve the best chance Army can give them this season. I dont see the return on any of our available players being good enough to justify throwing this season away anyways.

And yes my opinion has taken a full 180 since about 5 days ago and I am not ashamed.

Big win.

What happens Monday now? I can’t see us selling off Schwartz, Bozak or Dunn anymore.

If Hoffman gets dealt, it’s probably in a hockey trade for someone else (or a combination of deals where we acquire a different middle 6 player).

I’m intrigued.
I don't think The Blues will risk tossing away this new chemistry. I don't think ANYONE will be traded off. The Blues need Hoffman's shooting, and Schwartz's hustle and puck stealing. The only thing they really need is a more consistent back-up goalie; but they're not going to be handed one. So, I think they'll stand pat, and let the chemistry continue to solidify.

It just came out of nowhere. I had just told my wife they didn’t have it tonight and I didn’t see a goal coming.
Yeah they really didn’t look good at all in the last few minutes. And a lot of the night, Minnesota wasn’t doing much besides just sitting back and we couldn’t get anything going.

Monday is another big game. If we can win that one this team could get on a roll.

What a comeback!!! Great win!! Last minute game-tier in Regulation, and winner with only 2 seconds left in OT. Back from the dead! Good thing, too. I think Talbot outperforms Husso in a shootout, and Blues get only one point, and worse, lose some of the momentum of this resurgence. Now, they can carry this new confidence into the next several games. This has the same feeling as the 2019 late season and playoff runs.

Not seeing any props for Husso keeping us in the game in the third. This fan base and backup goalies, man. If Binnington had shut the door and kept us in it to win it, everyone and his brother would have been going on and on about how solid he was. I guess putting up a 1.85 GAA and a .933 SP is only good if you’re the starter.

5 more vs the Wild. We can take 4 of them. We are better.
1 vs Arizona. We are better
2 vs Anaheim - see above
Final 2 are vs Vegas. Maybe they’ll be locked in 2nd place and have nothing to play for.
4 vs Avs- hopefully split. We play them tough
1 vs LA- win

We are alive

Maybe if he would stop giving up weak shit at the start of every game people would stop being so pissed off they could appreciate the rest of his game.

That's a huge win in more ways than one! That goal to end it by ROR was beautiful too!

Again though especially early on it does show Parayko is fragile right now since we rushed him back. Good to see Hoffman get a couple goals too, that said I still hope he's gone on Monday.

Husso's good performances are good. He makes really athletic saves, but the issue is that his saves/wins are the same story we faced with Allen. He will let in soft goals, move in his crease WAY too much, but makes really timely saves to keep the team in it. Of his 6 good starts in 14 games, he is 5-1-0 with 1.99 gaa with a 0.936 sv%. In the rest of his games he is 2-4-1 with 4.62 gaa with a 0.844 sv%. That is TOO big of a spread for a goalie and he would have to play super well for his stats to change considerably. He'd have to average 1.33 gaa in 3 games with ~ 26 shots a game to even break a sv% of .900. I'll praise him every time he makes a good save or keeps the team in it, but he more often than not has a bad game and if he doesn't, he looks too jumpy in the wins.

It's both. If you can't generate enough good shots on net, then you better have a lights out goalie.

I get the pessimism with the constant soft goals, but there is no goalie/tandem that is going to shut out an opponent every night

and at least Husso has a tendency to turn around after a softie to stand on his head for a handful of shots
