hhmmmmIf I recall, that was also because they had to embed a radio chip inside the puck in order to track movement. I do appreciate that we do have the technology to visually track small, fast-moving objects. It has certainly improved golf coverage; whether it's necessary for hockey is definitely debatable.
I missed the first period for my kid's band concert, and we score four goals. I get back and start watching the second and we get scored on.
Maybe I should go back to doing something else?
I think the puck trail should shimmer and leave sparkles that slowly settle to the ice.I hope the continue to experiment with the puck tracker. The hardest thing for new watchers, is understanding how to watch the puck. There is room to be tasteful with it.
