I'm generally a Sanford defender, but he has looked rough the past few games. He'd definitely get a game or two in the press box if we had enough healthy bodies. He's playing like he's drunk or something.

The kid has better hands than Sunny, but Sunny works his ass off out there and is far more effective. He needs to get a clue.

It would be different if it looked like he was trying and he looked super winded kinda like Parayko. At least then I'd be more receptive to thinking he had a covid related injury or something to that nature. But he's not even doing that, he's just being lazy and disengaged

He just looks kind of lost, as if he doesn't know what to do. It's been noticeable the last couple of games and he didn't look so bad prior to that. I wonder what's up.

Sanford has always been a player that I never liked because of how often he looks unengaged. However he was always effective analytically, so I've wanted to become more open to his style of play. It might look uninspired, but it was working in the larger picture.

This year, he's just been bad no matter how you view it.
