Schenn and Fowler decide to cover the same guy and leave Brown alone in the slot. Way to piss away a point guys. Too many instances of bad coverage late in the game here lately.

Blues are not missing the playoffs as long as they win these last 2 games. We can get 97 with 2 wins. We also hold the tiebreaker over them. Max points the Flames can get is 96.
It is a shame they coughed up a point tonight though because it will be tough to get into the Pacific bracket now unless Minny slides.
Min/Cgy Friday will be interesting.

I wouldn't be so sure the Blues are winning either of these last two games. They're out of gas.
And frankly, if they play like they have since the MTL game, I'm not sure we want to be there anyway.

At this point I am rooting for Minnesota in that game. I'd prefer to just secure a spot and rest some guys rather than get a bit better odds at WC1. Team is clearly gassed, so clinching sooner rather than later would be nice.
The hell with getting to the Pacific, we need Minny to beat CGY in regulation on Friday

Not getting that overtime point tonight is brutal. If we lost in OT the Flames would have had to win out in regulation and have us lose out in regulation to pass us.
It doesn’t matter. Any team that can’t beat that oilers roster isn’t doing shit in the playoffs anyways.

Still in shock over the last 2 minutes of that game. 4 on 4 for 2 minutes with McDavid in the box after looking to be shorthanded for the last 2. Have to score there. And then the non-call on Walker. Was the same play that they called a trip on Walker 2 minutes before. Could have easily been a penalty shot. And then total breakdown in coverage. McDavid murdered us tonight
