Have been awkward to go undefeated into the playoffs then lose game 1. That would be the trap of all traps.
Now all that weirdness can not be a thing.
Gg jets. Really impressive win for them. Smothering. Although I did like our first half of the game - I don’t mind getting outshot a bit if the quality chances are close to or even. We got out possessed by a ton but they really couldn’t do much with it.

I am serious. I'm worried they are gassed and have a very good Oilers team next whereas the Wild and Flames play bottom feeders.
Im not saying they are OUT, just worried.

Take it from a Friendly Jets fan visiting (with a soft spot for you guys - cheered you on after you took us out in 2019 and happy yall won the cup that year)
Your team is the real deal. You don’t win 12 in a row at this time of the year by accident.
Have some faith! As an outsider, as a third party, very impressed with the blues team game.
Again, blues are legit. Be proud, not worried.

I disagree with this actually. Yes the Jets had way more established zone time but I thought the Blues really did limit chances. They played a real strong defensive game just not as strong as the Jets. The transition/offense just wasn't clicking but we were one bounce away from tying and/or winning that game.

Nothing bad to say about this loss. We know we got the team when they can lose a game like this and bounce back and kill. These boys have got it, they just got to keep trucking.

As always. Checking in after we play. Blues are my second favorite team and I really like the team makeup of the blues. At times it seemed not well played. Maybe even a tired effort. But the blues sure have been on a role.

They definitely skew negative, just saying. The Blues will be fine. As I said we have 3 games left, one left against the depleted Oilers squad, and two against teams that are out of it.
Draisaitl is out. He had came back from a previous injury on march 29th, but in his 3rd game back on april 3rd he got injured again afger 1 period. He has yet to play since then and isnt playing tonight.
The oilers are without mcdavid ekholm and draisaitl right now(and their starting goalie skinner but pickards been outplaying him). Unless one of them returns we are facing a very depleted and beatable oilers team.

God forbid someone posts and is being realistic here. That's like the plague in these forums lol.
The truth is, we can still miss the playoffs if teams get hot and we stall. We aren't as far up the ladder as many seem to think. Each game is a must-win for us since teams like Calgary have games in hand and they gained on us tonight. I get folks wanting to rest Binny but we simply can't afford it.
Lol there’s nothing “realistic” about his post. It’s objectively pathetic to make a post talking about “I’m worried” the night that the team snaps a 12 game win streak. Like come on, that’s pretty f***ing dumb.
Look at his post history too, all throughout the winning streak his posts in the GDTs were still constantly “we will be lucky to score a goal tonight”, “terrible effort”, “we suck, we’re going to lose”, etc.
Nobody has to be nor should be positive all the time, but his posts are so miserable that he deserves to be called out for it.

Some folks realities are quite negative, God knows I've been there. I also don't know what's going on behind the proverbial computer screen so I try to show some grace. There's a lot I read that I don't agree with, most of it I let slide past or opine about how I feel about something.
If you feel the way you do and your feeling is accurate, maybe the poster is looking for attention or a fight and maybe you should just ignore that kind of bait?
I don't know, I'm having far too good a time with how far we've come to subject myself to anything negative, even after a loss. We got something special going on.

Jet fan here. If the Blues can keep playing like they did tonight they are a force to reckon with in the POs. Hope they continue to win and move over to the Pacific division because I do not want the Jets to play them until the conference final. Yes, I think they are good enough to come out of the Pacific division and challenge the Central division winner.

BTW, I call out the good and the bad with each game. I think you miss that and are selective in your observations. You are piling on because I said something that contradicts what the group is thinking tonight.
I don't think making the playoffs is a done deal. Do you? This is gonna be a close thing and our effort tonight wasn't good enough.
Just 12 games ago a vocal minority on this board was talking about "tanking" the rest of the season in order to get into a better position for the postseason draft. I never cared for such talk nor the idea of tanking. You want to chastise negativity? Were you policing them up for such cynical discussions? I think I know the answer to that.

Just 12 games ago a vocal minority here was riding the tank train and nobody pushed back about that being too much "drama" or overly "negative". Did you call them out for their posts?
Some of you have short and selective memories.
I hope we make the playoffs, but nothing is for certain. The team had to win 12 in a row because the rest of the season was a disappointment. I hope they have enough in the tank to get it done.

This was Edmontons last line-up. I'm not saying it's a guaranteed win, as you can lose against anyone in the NHL on a bad day, but IMO we're the favorites going into that game.
