Why exactly does Saad get a pass. I think his linemates have been two the better players tonight but he has just not been a presence on the ice at all tonight.

lol after the game ...the goalie i used to play with always wanted a few before the game and i obliged ... not good

quick story, me and a buddy were supposed to meet like 3 of our teammates or a few beers before the game, as usual.

so he and I show up before the others, so we ordered a coupla pitchers and started downing them. before ya know it, we drank em both but were convinced the other guys were gonna show up any minute. so we ordered a coupla more.

then.. those were empty so we ordered some more...cause, you know.. they'll be there any minute.

well.. they never showed up.. and he and I drank beers that we bought for FIVE guys... a coupla times...

needless to say, it took me a few shifts in that cold air to get my head cleared up lol
my buddy was so drunk, he kept falling down so only skated like 2 shifts then gave up and sat on the bench hahaha

I'm normally a "no excuse" guy, cuz I am go go go almost all of the time.

After the first 3 games of the season, Saad has been superb, so I will allow him a night off.
