Blues playoff prediction 2024-2025 sesson?

Probably lose in the first round but I am going with optimism and voted second round exit
 
I voted Stanley Cup winner because I've made a promise to myself to look on the positive side of things. My gut, mind, heart, and soul all say we'll lose to Winnipeg, but I figure that so long as I'm being positive...well, why not vote for a Stanley Cup win? It's not like we aren't already playing with house money.

I guess we'd upset the Jets and go to the 2nd round (and then lose vs DAL/COL). Some playoff experience for the young guys and we still get to pick in the 17-20-ish range.
 
Berube will be too much to overcome.

The jets ruined my bracket last year and so maybe they’ll do it again. Last year I had them on a deep run, this year I’m kicking them out in the first round. I like our defense; our lows should be pretty moderate and maybe our highs can be more sporadic. I think it could be fun to get early goals, early leads. A few playoff hellebyuck memes later…

It’ll be fun to read about how much we cheated after we beat the Avs. Their one broadcaster guy probably is risking the wrath of hockey gods. I suggest; oblige him.

It would be funny then if Holloway threatened to return and we had a complete team to face the oilers.

But then its chief. And Marner. That’ll be our demise.

Clearcut favorite from the east from how I Model.

Their young core got thrown in way too early but now they reap the rewards - hundreds of games of experience on guys aged 26-29. With the ages of Marner, nylander, Tavares, Matthews - who’s been looking like his old self - they should be able to push through everybody except Carolina and Tampa with ease, and I don’t think any of them can beat the leafs besides the leafs. They’re both hyper talented and big/heavy. McMann, Patches, Knies and Laughton is enough secondary scoring. They’ll methodically and resoundingly process through their bracket imo.

Their elite core knows it’s gonna change. They aren’t going to pass on this chance to compete together. When USA Canada hit a fever pitch - Marner was the best skater on the ice. He’s got that potential throughout these early rounds.

I am mostly being facetious as I don't really care about the East. Would love it for Chief though.

Faulk is 20 short of 1,000. Fowler above 1,000. Parayko above 700. Broberg is the only noob at 150.

Blues defense is a nice stable frame to build a wagon on.

I can't see The Blues beating The Jets without Holloway. I think they'll give it their best and win 2 games. I hope The Jets can win The Cup this year. It might be their best chance in a long time(past and near future). The Blues should be much better next season, and this series will help that growth. I hope Holloway can return for a few games later in this series (but I wouldn't bet on that).

I like Toronto too this yr. Def the best value on the board. Just bet them to win the East. Would love for the Chief to take them on a run.
 
Jets just seem different this year. I badly want the Blues to win a round, but I think they lose a hard-fought series in 6. Too much to overcome with Holloway out and not having two viable scoring lines.

Would love to see them do well, but only due to Chief. I just can't stand them though, so I'll be rooting for Brady and the Sens to pull off the massive upset of the season.
